Room was clean as, but I reckon a bit more pressure in the shower would've been sweet. Breakfast was a real feast!

Absolutely spotless venue, superb bar area, beautiful location near the hills. Location right by the decent Italian restaurant, the pub, and Coolaney. Delicious breakfast with a wide range of options to choose from.

My rollercoaster experience!
Warm hospitality made us feel welcomed, with nice homemade soup and delicious breakfasts that set us up for the day ahead.
Though the rooms were comfortable, some might find the shower pressure could use a little boost.

Really good Hospitality in a Cozy Setting
We were greeted with homemade soup and cheese scones. The attention to detail was excellent, exemplified by the warm atmosphere in the bar, where we enjoyed a local takeaway with a few drinks. Breakfast was a feast, too, with generous portions that fueled our adventures. One minor suggestion would be to increase the pressure of the shower for a more refreshing experience after a day of hiking.

Great for a family getaway
Hosts Liam and Mary were so cute making us feel like we were at home. The bar downstairs was cozy with an open fire, perfect to unwind after a long day.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but honestly worth it.

This spot is a gem for anyone trekking along the Sligo Way. The cozy bar has an open fire that really warms you up after a long day. You can grab a local Chinese takeaway to enjoy there with a gin and tonic-talk about bliss after over 20 miles of hiking.
While it's mostly a solid experience, the shower in my room had a pressure that left something to be desired. It's not a dealbreaker, but after a long day of hiking, a powerful shower would've really hit the spot instead of a teasing drizzle.

I had a fantastic stay at the Mountain Inn. the hosts, David, Mary, and Liam, were incredibly friendly and attentive. They made me feel right at home and provided personal, friendly attention throughout my stay. the location of the inn, nestled at the foot of the Ox Mountains, was tranquil and peaceful. It offered a perfect retreat, yet it was conveniently close to three major towns for any additional facilities I needed. I loved the cozy and quiet atmosphere, and I highly recommend the Mountain Inn to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. A special thank you to Mary for the delicious, home-cooked breakfast. Cons: Absolutely nothing! This place exceeded all my expectations. 😊.
